Hey there! We’re Asti & Joel — two artists, adventurers, and storytellers on a mission to bring forgotten ceramics back to life.

Our journey started when our friend won an old building at a tax auction and sold it to us. What we found inside completely changed everything: shelves stacked with hundreds of vintage ceramic molds, once owned by a woman named Roxie who had poured years of creativity into them. Rather than let her legacy fade, we decided to pick up where she left off — and the Mystery Mold project was born.

Each mold is like opening a time capsule — we never know what we’re going to find until we crack it open. Some are cute, some are creepy, some are pure kitsch — and every single one is a surprise. That thrill is what keeps us hooked.

We hand-cast, glaze, and fire every piece ourselves, giving these forgotten forms a fresh, modern life. Through our work, we’re not just making ceramics — we’re preserving stories, celebrating creativity, and sharing joy with people who love the weird, the whimsical, and the wonderfully unexpected.
